Okay, I'm sorry for not updating last week. My Algebra homework has been keeping me pretty darned busy lately, so I've had little time for anything else.

Anyway, the inspiration for this page was a quirky little Japanese sandbox game for the PS2 called Steambot Chronicles. While overall the gameplay in Steambot Chronicles and GTA are fairly different (you steal cars in GTA, and you drive a Robot walker in Steambot) there were some similarities, like the sandbox style, open ended story, huge thriving cities and... eh... street hookers. You can't actually steal trotmobiles and cause mass destruction in Steambot Chronicles, the joke seemed a bit too good to pass up. (Please note that I've never actually played GTA, I've just read articles on it.)

Anyway, on to the news:

Progress on Security is actually progressing, surprisingly enough. I've been talking about this big project me and my brother have been working on for a while, and it won't be long before I start posting it here. The penning stage of the first chapter is complete, so now I just have 22 pages to color. (bleh!) Anyway, once that stage is finished, look forward to Security's grand opening... whenever that happens.

OTHER MUCH BIGGER NEWS THAT ACTUALLY HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS COMIC!

Expect some big changes coming the way of Milo and John VERY SOON! I'm talking major changes, including, but not limited to:

1. A PLOT!

2. A change in art style (not like that's too surprising, my style is always changing.)

3. More screen time for secondary characters. (Tina will play a major role in the plot right off the bat, and Shaun and Jesse will have thier own side plot.)

4. Some actual character development (maybe).

Don't worry, while I'm giving a plot to M&J, the humor will still be entirely video game based (possibly even more so, but I won't give out any details yet.)

In any case, look forward to 'Milo and John: Season 2' coming soon. I may try to make the release of it either my birthday, July 1st, or M&J's 2nd anniversary this october. We'll just have to see what happens.
